THE RIVER OYSTER BAR

BRICKELL, MIAMI, FL

Miami CNC is proud to have been engaged in the designing, fabrication, and complete installation of the luxury millwork items now residing at The River Oyster Bar in Brickell. We were tapped by Amicon Construction and the wonderful designers at Studio IDC to outfit this incredible restaurant with equally incredible design elements including the Wave Ceiling, Walnut Curved Bartop, Designer Barback, Bar Island, waitress stations, and more.

WAVE CEiling - An Optic Delight

Created to resemble the ease of an ocean wave traversing the length of the room, this Designer Ceiling sets the tone for the amazing experience of dining within this Seafood Bar. We were commissioned to design, fabricate, finish and install this entire 52 Slats Wave ceiling which consists each of around 3 sections edge banding in unison to create a cohesive piece when viewed from below.

Walnut curved bar - main bar 

Measuring around 50 ft in perimeter and 2 ft deep this gorgeous Curved Bar has been one of pour favorite pieces to date. Made from Solid Walnut, grain was taken into consideration to create the most exquisite patterns at the shoulder bends along with traditional woodworking techniques to create the curved lips.   

Back Bar - The Ceiling melts into the bar 

This specialty shelving system for the back of bar was created to bring down the ceiling pattern along the wall ending it into the bar. It is made form the same Toasted Oak material as well as outfitted with luxurious Brass reveals, LED lighting, and crystal clear Starfire glass shelves.

Bar Center Island -  The Glorifier

Beautifully designed combination of 1/2” Starfire Glass, Antique Brass Structure, and a Glowing Stone Countertop created for the simple purpose of bringing the entire stock of fine liquors available into glorious life.

Back Bar - The Ceiling melts into the bar 

This specialty shelving system for the back of bar is entirely floating and was created to bring down the ceiling pattern along the wall ending it into the bar. It is made from the same Toasted Oak material as well as outfitted with luxurious Brass reveals, LED lighting, and crystal clear Starfire glass shelves.

Waitress Stations, ROpe Wall, and Reception Desk

Standalone furniture fitting for an establishment bringing the luxury out of rustic elements. The cabinetry was cladded with reclaimed barn wood and the façade of the reception Desk is made of 100 year old River Cypress reinforced by a rustic metal band for a unique hardy look. New England rope adorns the waitress stations bringing sweet hints of a sailing life to the environment. Solid White Oak countertops and Shelves were wood was needed and a gorgeous Nightmist Stone for the reception countertop.
